That can help you determine which skills the villagers will excel in.

Pay attention to the likes and dislikes of each villager that appears when you click on the "details" tab.

There are 3 levels a villager can achieve in each skill, Trainee, Adept and ultimately they can become a Master.

It is important that at the beginning of the game that you teach your villagers different skills so that you have villagers with a multitude of skills.
